Forest Research Institute
Seven kms. from clock Tower  the Forest Research Institute on the dehradun- Chakrata  road is the biggest  training institute in India. Most of the forest officers are graduates of this institute. The F.R.I. with its majestic building also houses a Botanical Museum. Indian Military Academy Situated  eight kms. on Dehradun - Chakrata road and 3 kms. beyond F.R.I.  Dehradun  is a premier training institute for Army officers. The Academy is having Museum and. library of war memorial arms and ammunition shooting demonstration room.

Sun Temple
Sun Temple is also awaiting your visit in Almora. Amidst the main city of Champawat is the historical Baleshwar Temple, which is a fine example of stone architecture, this temple is believed to be built between 10 -12 century A.D. The Badrinath temple and the Kedarnath temple, one crosses during the Char Dham yatra are also have historical importance. The Baji Nath temple in Kausani is also a famous temple of archaeological and historical importance.

Deogarh Fort

Laxman Siddh
It is a famous historical place of the Dehradun. It is situated at a distance of twelve km from Dehradun near Haridwar / Rishikesh; it is very famous temple in the Dehradun. Tapkeshawar Temple
Tapkeshwar Shiva Temple is located on the banks of a river, it is an ancient place of the worship and is situated in the Garhi cantt.  Tapkeshwar Temple is 5.5 km away from Dehradun. St. John's Church
