Somnath Verawal Beach
Verawal is a fishing port in between Diu and Porbandar on the Saurashtra coast at a distance of five km from the Somnath Temple. The present temple was commissioned by Sardar Patel in the 1950s. The temple is impressive the aura of devotion even more awesome, but the high point is it's location by the blue waters of the Arabian Sea. The beach of Somnath is un shaded but lovely, with classic views. The most spectacular sight of Veraval is the fishing port, where thousands of trawlers, country crafts and dhows can be seen unloading their catch.
Seventy km from Bhavnagar Gopnath is one of the beautiful sandy beaches. Gopnath beach is beautiful sea cost with great views and colorful birds. Gopnath beach is perfect sandy beach for walking. From here an excellent road connects it to Junagadh, Girnar, the Gir Forests Sanctuary and the famous temple of Somnath.
